The Wifely Art of Nagging

Me: Tomorrow is going to be gorgeous. We'll be able to rehang the shutters in the morning.

Daddy Shortbread: If it's going to be nice, we need to finish painting the garage.

Me (sweetly): You mean after we hang the shutters?

Daddy Shortbread: *grumble*

I don't see any pictures of the rehung shutters yet. :)

Grumbling must be an inherited trait. It is on of the top 10 tunes or sounds in our house anytime I make a suggestion for change or improvement :-(

I think grumbling comes naturally to men. If it's not grumbling, it's "I'll get around to it." We women know what that means! I'm often tempted to ask, "During this life or in your next one?" :)
