Our district was in the black until this year, so we are not as bad as many districts.Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12768569658001165651noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5723653386032743586.post-49722883909362050802010-03-23T17:10:53.707-04:002010-03-23T17:10:53.707-04:00Smart girl, that bug.Smart girl, that bug.Jen on the Edgehttp://www.jenontheedge.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5723653386032743586.post-47160452624375821382010-03-23T15:38:45.489-04:002010-03-23T15:38:45.489-04:00Oh, I would so like to live in her world!

But today, I saw a headline that said in an effort to save money, some school districts would go to 4 day school weeks.

I'm sorry, I just don't see how that is going to help. It's bad enough they've cut funding to all things that help our children be creative. Then they can half the teachers and double the amount of students for the ones who are left. And now only 4 days a week? How does anyone expect children to learn like this?!

The future is scary when you think about how undereducated the population will be in 40 years.

Sorry. Big soap box for me.Dawn in D.C.https://www.blogger.com/profile/15507993823949063816noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5723653386032743586.post-5203797760296228392010-03-23T10:57:22.749-04:002010-03-23T10:57:22.749-04:00Sweet bug!

In my experience, no one ever lacks an opinion that they are willing to pass off as fact. Some of the questions I used to get would make your head explode.unmitigated mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13901264130484454602noreply@blogger.com
